Your new company A well-established roofing company based in Derbyshire is seeking a dedicated and experienced Roofing Estimator to join their team. This company prides itself on delivering high-quality roofing solutions, specifically flat roofing and exceptional customer service. Your new role As a Roofing Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing and estimating the costs of roofing projects for both residential and commercial properties. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting site visits to evaluate project requirements. Preparing detailed cost estimates and proposals. Liaising with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice. Collaborating with the project management team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates. Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and pricing. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need: Proven experience as a Roofing Estimator or in a similar role within the roofing industry. Experience with flat roofing, liquid, felt, hot melt etc. Strong knowledge of roofing materials, methods, and regulations. Excellent analytical and numerical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for estimating. A valid driving licence and the ability to travel to project sites on occasion.
