Support for Learning Assistant (Advanced) - FLK12743

Job Advert Falkirk Council are looking to recruit Support for Learning Assistants for Shieldhill Primary School and California Primary School. You will provide support for teachers, early years professionals and children to enhance experiences and achievement. You will undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and the well-being of children. Good communication skills are essential and the role will require supporting children with a range of needs. You should enjoy working as part of a team as this will be a key aspect of the role. You will work 20 hours per week on a term time basis. Your working pattern will be Monday to Fri 9.00/9.30am-1.00/1.30pm (TBC). This post will be PEF funded and is therefore a temporary position from August 2025 until June 2026 This post is temporary until June 2026 due to service requirement. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
