Senior HSEQ Assistant Job Type: Full-time Location: Can be based in Cheltenham or Cirencester, Flexible (Hybrid working available) We are seeking an HSEQ Assistant to join a leading environmental consultancy that is committed to delivering high-quality work for clients and the environment. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) matters and is looking to make a positive impact within a dynamic business. Day to Day of the role: Act as the first point of contact for the team on HSEQ matters, directing them to the appropriate policy, guidance, or team members. Manage the HSEQ inbox, conduct audits, collate data, complete questionnaires, write reports, and schedule meetings to support HSEQ matters. Ensure the business complies with HSEQ standards and regulations. Engage in continuous professional development, seeking training opportunities, new initiatives, and personal growth within the role. Required Skills & Qualifications: GCSEs including Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent). Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Experience in Health & Safety, Environment, and/or Quality, or a strong desire to learn about these areas. A positive, self-motivated, adaptable, proactive, and reactive attitude. A solution-focused approach with a passion for upholding compliance across HSEQ. A team-first mentality with excellent communication skills.
