FP&A Manager - Maternity Cover

The Business Are you a commercially astute finance professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic, PE-backed tech services business? We’re recruiting an FP&A Manager for a 12-month maternity cover, based at our Central Manchester head office. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, innovative environment during a key period of growth and transformation, backed by a leading private equity investor. You'll play a pivotal role in driving financial insight, planning and performance across the group. Key Responsibilities: Own the group’s budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes Deliver insightful financial analysis to support key business decisions and commercial initiatives Partner with senior stakeholders across operations, sales and product to track KPIs and optimise performance Lead month-end performance reviews and variance analysis versus forecast/budget Support the PE investor reporting process, including board packs and MI preparation Develop and enhance financial models to support growth, investment and scenario planning Contribute to the ongoing improvement of systems, processes and reporting capabilities About You: Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) Strong FP&A and commercial finance experience, ideally in a tech, SaaS, or services-based business Able to communicate financial insight clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders Highly proficient in Excel and financial modelling – exposure to Power BI or other BI tools would be an advantage Experience in a private equity environment is desirable but not essential A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a scale-up or change-oriented setting This is a rare chance to step into a visible and influential finance role at the heart of a high-growth business.
