Customer Service & Sales Adviser Annual Salary: Up to £27,000 Location: Yeovil Job Type: Full-time, Office-based Join our team as a Customer Service & Sales Adviser and start your career in insurance with a company that offers full training, development, and progression opportunities. This role is perfect for individuals looking to thrive in a customer-focused environment within our Yeovil agency, working Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with no weekend work. Day-to-day of the role: Deliver exceptional customer service to both new and existing customers. Handle a variety of customer queries including reviewing and amending policies, managing correspondence, processing renewals, and providing quotations. Build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships. Promote and sell products and services after receiving comprehensive training to understand customer needs fully. Ensure compliance with standards, the Training and Competence Scheme, and regulatory requirements. Participate in ongoing professional development to meet the continuous professional development requirements of the Insurance Distribution Directive. Required Skills & Qualifications: Experience in customer service, preferably within a telephone-based role. Proven ability to identify and capitalise on sales opportunities through excellent service. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication skills, capable of engaging customers over the telephone. High level of computer literacy. Interest or knowledge of farming or agriculture is beneficial but not essential. Benefits: Competitive salary up to £27,000 per annum.
