Tasks: API Development and Integration: Design, configure/develop, and maintain EDGE APIs integrating Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter) with client custom portal. Technical Expertise: Work with Guidewire's EDGE framework to create scalable and efficient solutions, ensure adherence to best practices in API development and Guidewire standards. Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Work closely with QA teams to ensure the quality and functionality of APIs. Troubleshooting and Support: Debug and resolve issues related to API performance, integration, and functionality. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing APIs. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, including specifications, workflows, and integration guides. Performance Optimization: Optimize API performance to ensure fast and reliable communication between systems. Monitor and improve the efficiency of API calls and data exchanges.
