TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Warren, Michigan, 48093 Pay Information $2,122 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty areas License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: Basic dysrhythmia testing competency, willingness to float between ICU and stepdown Description: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Provides, delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4 hours. There is potential to be assigned to a new unit in 4-hour blocks. Candidates must be willing to float between ICU and stepdown units. Required skills include clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.
