Water Resources Engineer

Job Description Job Description Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Water Resources Engineer to their Chicago team Responsibilities: Work with municipal clients Analysis and design of Stormwater facilities, urban flooding, mitigation, storm sewers , detention facilities, steambank restoration and naturalized areas Use technical expertise to develop Hydrologic and Hydraulic models of municipal storm sewer, combined sewer, and sanitary collection systems Technical Lead for Drainage Studies/Stormwater Masterplans and Open Channel Analysis Perform applicable quality control Maintain QA/QC standards Mentor/train junior staff Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering Master’s degree in water resources engineering preferred 8 years of modeling collection systems experience PE License Expert in hydrology and hydraulics and H&H modeling (SWMM, ICM, HEC) Salary is commensurate with experience.
