Company Accountant, Ripon, £45,000-£60,000 An established business in Ripon is recruiting for an accountant, reporting to their Finance Director, you will be involved with the day-to-day finance operations and preparation of financial statements and reports.To be considered you should be ACCA/ACA qualified, PQ will also be considered Duties: Responsibility for preparing management accounts and assisting with the year-end statutory accounts. Monthly balance sheet control account reconciliations, including bank and intercompany reconciliation. Preparation of monthly salaries and overseeing and assisting with weekly payroll. Overseeing the accounts department, purchase ledger, and sales ledger. Preparing and submitting VAT returns, RTI submissions, CT61 returns, P11d, and business surveys. Assisting with the preparation of annual forecasts and budgets. Responsibility for intercompany transactions and recharges, and assistance with preparation of property accounts. Assisting with the development of the new ERP system, including testing, training and data migration. Maintaining the fixed asset register. Requirements Qualified Account (ACCA/ACA), part qualified can be considered. ideally with experience in a similar finance role Strong attention to detail with meticulous record keeping skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team and meet strict deadlines.
