Building Safety Manager

Building Safety Manager Goodman Masson are supporting a key client with the recruitment of a Building Safety Manager. Rate : £450-£500 per day (negotiable, depending on experience) Duration : 6 months Location : London (3d on-site) The successful candidate will be responsible for: Prepare and submit Building Assessment Certificate (BAC) applications for high-risk buildings Act as the primary liaison with the Building Safety Regulator and other key stakeholders Collaborate with internal council teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure compliance Work closely with the Fire Safety Team to maintain safety across all high-risk buildings Support the Development Team in maintaining the Golden Thread of Information for new high-risk buildings Conduct detailed building inspections, identifying risks and recommending improvements Oversee the production of client briefs for fire improvement works resulting from building safety inspections Provide expert advice to internal departments on building safety policies and procedures, fostering a culture of compliance Support building control, planning, and listed building consent processes as required Engage with residents in high-risk buildings to promote safety awareness and transparency Working closely with residents, tenants, contractors, and external stakeholders to address safety concerns and ensure transparency Ensuring that all identified HRRBs are managed and maintained in accordance with the requirements of the Building Safety Act The successful candidate will have: Extensive knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and related legislation Proven experience in a similar role In our company values we aim for equity at all stages of the recruitment process, please let us know if we can do anything to make the process more accessible to you.
