Advert Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative (19/513) Castle Douglas £26,766 - £28,419 Duties will include:- Driving of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste & White Goods/Bulky collection vehicles. Driving of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste & White Goods/Bulky collection vehicles. Ensuring collection of refuse & recycling routes on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures. Other tasks relating to Waste Collection Service functions. An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Facilities, Waste and Neighbourhood Services. We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require a Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative at our depot in Abercromby Depot, Castle Douglas. You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work as a team member. This post is subject to candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland. You will be educated to Standard Grade Level and have Class C, HGV License, and valid Driver CPC.
