Personal Tax Senior

Overview Our client, a leading national accountancy Practice is looking to recruit an an experienced and driven Personal Tax professional into its Barnsley office to provide expert advisory and compliance services to a portfolio of clients whilst building lasting relationships and delivering high-quality solutions to meet their tax needs. Duties Managing a portfolio of clients , providing tax services that meet and exceed their expectations. Preparing tax returns in line with standard procedures, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Advising SME limited companies, larger partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) on detailed and complex tax issues, including CGT, IHT, personal, and business tax planning. Building strong client relationships to deliver innovative and forward-thinking solutions. Acting as a line manager for junior team members, mentoring them and reviewing their work. Ensuring all deliverables are completed within agreed timeframes and budgets. Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation to ensure clients receive the best possible advice. Requirements ATT qualified (CTA qualification preferred). Extensive experience managing a portfolio of tax clients. Strong knowledge of tax planning for SMEs and high-net-worth individuals. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-centric approach. Proven ability to manage and mentor team members. A proactive and commercially minded outlook. Competent in using relevant tax software and tools.
