Law Costs Draftsperson - FULLY REMOTE OR HYBRID A prestigious client seeks a meticulous and self-driven Law Costs Draftsperson to join their expanding team on either a fully remote or hybrid working basis. This role is pivotal in ensuring client satisfaction by efficiently managing and meeting their needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to meeting deadlines and targets. Job Title - Law Costs Draftsperson Hours - Full Time / Part Time - Flexible Hours Location - Fully Remote OR Hybrid (depending on location) Salary - Extremely Competitive Benefits - Company Pension, Holiday Package, Remote / Hybrid working policy, quarterly team events, long term training and progression Why Apply : Potential to lead a small team or manage a dedicated client account Working for a supportive and friendly firm who have a genuine interest in retaining staff and offering long term progression Full team meet up every quarter with a team actively / meal About the role : Drafting bills of costs for various cases, including PI claims, industrial disease claims, commercial matters, clinical negligence claims, and credit claims Preparing schedules of costs and statements for trial Providing cost advice to clients in writing or via telephone regarding settlement recovery or technical issues Drafting and negotiating Cost Budgets, and preparing documentation for the CCMC Attending CCMC/CMC hearings for advocacy related to Cost Budgets and/or directions Conducting regular file reviews and utilising Proclaim to ensure timely progression of matters Meeting daily chargeable time targets and yearly billing targets set by a Manager Experience Required : Proven experience in cost drafting, with a comprehensive understanding of various case types Proficiency in using a case management system and Costs Master (cost drafting software) How to Apply: This opportunity is being managed confidentially by HarKaye Core Talent .
