Business Analyst

PROJECT INFORMATION: Industry: banking Location: possibility to work remotely or from the office in Kraków Type of assignment: B2B Start: ASAP (to be agreed) Duration: long-term cooperation Introduction & Summary emagine is seeking experienced Business Analysts to support our comprehensive data transformation initiative within the banking sector. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in data analysis and a keen understanding of the banking environment. You will play a critical role in cleansing and standardizing data, correcting industry codes, and contributing to a new database focused on customer and client data. Main Responsibilities Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across the organization. Lead data cleansing and standardization efforts. Develop and maintain a new customer and client database. Conduct external research to derive entity relationships. Perform data reconciliation to generate reports and MI using MS Excel. Create process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Manage stakeholders effectively while analyzing reference data. Collaborate with a team based in India to ensure project success. Utilize basic SQL for data manipulation as needed. Participate in team meetings and provide insights. Key Requirements Experience in the banking sector. SQL knowledge for creating and running scripts. Proficient in Atlassian Confluence. Strong skills in MS Excel, including pivot tables, charts, and formulas. Expertise in handling large datasets for reporting. Ability to create process documentation and SOPs. Good stakeholder management skills with reference data analysis experience. Understanding of entity and corporate relationships. Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
