Job Description
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript). 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms. 1 year of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems. Preferred qualifications: Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages, including Java, C/C++, C#, Python, Go. Familiarity with Google tech stack (e.g., Borg, Boq, Spanner, Flume). Ability to learn other coding languages as needed. Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Responsibilities Learn and improve the processes/procedures that support our core services. Design, develop, test, deploy and monitor mission critical and user facing features. Migrate existing Fitbit platforms/services to the Google ecosystem. Collaborate with different teams inside Fitbit and Google (e.g., Identity, Product Security, Customer Support, Product Management, feature development teams, Cloud Infrastructure, Database Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering).
