QA Network Tester

As part of the growth journey we are searching for a QA Network Tester with a strong background in software testing, networking, and database performance evaluation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of computer science, networking protocols, and extensive experience in testing software in a Windows Application environment. You will be responsible for performing rigorous tests to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our products, with a special focus on MSSQL databases and network-related testing. Responsibilities: Design and execute test plans for software applications, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability. Conduct in-depth network testing and troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark, Ixia, Spirent, Cisco Packet Tracer, etc. Perform thorough testing on MSSQL databases, ensuring their performance and scalability. Utilize load testing and database benchmarking tools (e.g., JMeter, SQLQueryStress, HammerDB) to assess system performance. Develop and maintain test cases using test case management tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve defects. Apply strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills to identify the root causes of issues. Participate in stress testing and contribute to the improvement of system resilience. Communicate test results, findings, and risks clearly and effectively to all stakeholders. Contribute to improving testing methodologies and processes within the team. Requirements: Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in software testing, particularly in a Windows Application environment. Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Firewalls, QoS, VLANs. Experience with network testing and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, Ixia, Spirent, Cisco Packet Tracer). Expertise in testing the performance, scalability, and reliability of MSSQL databases. Experience with load testing and database benchmarking tools (e.g., JMeter, SQLQueryStress, HammerDB). Proficient in using test case management tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, stress-testing environment. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
