Job Description
Overview : The Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer role is crucial for our organization as it directly impacts how we manage and optimize our digital content. This position focuses on the development, implementation, and maintenance of AEM solutions to enhance our customer experiences across various channels. As a part of our dynamic team, the AEM Developer will work closely with content authors, marketing teams, and IT personnel to ensure that our digital assets are well-structured, easily accessible, and functionally rich. The ideal candidate will not only possess technical proficiency in AEM but also demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, making them a critical asset in improving our workflow and promoting teamwork. By leveraging AEM capabilities, this role aims to deliver engaging digital experiences that meet our customers' needs and drive overall business success. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and deploy AEM solutions tailored to business requirements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AEM with existing workflows. - Optimize system performance for improved user experience and reliability. - Implement and maintain AEM templates, components, and workflows. - Handle version control and documentation for AEM projects. - Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for AEM environments. - Stay up-to-date with AEM and related technologies to ensure best practices. - Assist in user training for content authors and editors. - Develop and implement testing strategies for AEM components. - Work on integrating third-party APIs with AEM solutions. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the content management system. - Ensure compliance with security standards and protocols. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions. - Gather feedback from stakeholders to enhance AEM capabilities. - Monitor system health and recommend enhancements to the architecture. Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. - 3 years of experience in AEM development. - Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. - Proficiency in Java and related frameworks. - Understanding of version control systems like Git. - Experience with RESTful APIs and integration techniques. - Familiarity with Agile development methodologies. - Ability to work in a high-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Experience with AEM upgrades and migration processes. - Knowledge of web analytics tools and best practices. - Familiarity with content delivery networks (CDNs). - Experience in performance tuning of web applications. - Certification in Adobe Experience Manager is a plus.
