Citrix Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Citrix Administrator with 4 - 6 years of experience to join our team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate should have expertise in managing Windows Servers 2016, Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop, VMWare, and VDI. The role involves infrastructure management, troubleshooting, automation, and service monitoring, ensuring high availability and performance of Citrix environments. Key Responsibilities : - Manage and maintain Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop environments, including Netscaler, StoreFront, Citrix Director, and EdgeSight. - Configure and support Windows Server 2016 in an enterprise environment. - Implement best practices for incident management, problem management, service request handling, and change management. - Manage and optimize VMWare and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions. - Develop PowerShell scripts to automate server maintenance and repetitive tasks. - Ensure smooth operation of datacenter environments with high availability and performance. - Monitor system health, track performance metrics, and adhere to SLA commitments. - Establish and maintain detailed process documents, SOPs, and run books. - Analyze and resolve technical issues related to Citrix environments, networking, and infrastructure. Required Skills & Qualifications : - Hands-on experience with Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, StoreFront, Netscaler, EdgeSight, and Citrix Director. - Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016 administration. - Experience in VMWare, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), and related tools. - Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation. - Experience in Incident Management, Service Request Management, Problem Management, and Change Request Management. - Knowledge of SLA management and service performance tracking. - Ability to document technical procedures, SOPs, and run books. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex infrastructure issues. - Exposure to Azure or GCP environments is a plus. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and issue resolution. - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 4 - 6 years of experience in Citrix Administration and Windows Server Management. - Work on cutting-edge Citrix and Virtualization projects. - Collaborative and dynamic work environment. - Opportunity to work on enterprise-level infrastructure management. - Competitive contract rates and potential long-term engagement.
