Invenger Technologies - Quality Assurance Engineer - Product/Regression Testing

Job Description : Job Title : QA Engineer Location : Mangalore Overview : The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and executing test plans, analyzing product requirements, and enhancing testing procedures. They will collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications through both manual and automated testing methodologies. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to product excellence and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities : - Conduct comprehensive testing of current products, identifying deficiencies and proposing solutions. - Develop and execute test scenarios, test plans, and test cases. - Automate test cases for regression and performance testing. - Analyse product quality to suggest enhancements aimed at improving customer satisfaction. - Collaborate closely with the Product Development team for seamless project execution. - Coordinate with clients for integration testing and address ad hoc test requests. - Prepare and present status reports to Senior Management. - Lead the development and enhancement of testing procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Manage end-to-end QA cycle, including test case creation, execution, and management. - Perform UI/UX testing to ensure optimal user experience. - Engage in API testing using tools such as Postman. Skills : - Strong communication skills (verbal and written) - Proficient analytical skills - Strong knowledge of databases and SQL - Knowledge of QA Automation tools (a plus) - Familiarity with scripting - Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed Desired Skills : - Ability to analyse Product Requirement Documents (PRD) or User Stories to address any gaps. - Capability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities. - Detail-oriented, organized, and hands-on approach. - Excellent problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication with users, technical teams, and management to review requirements and discuss product features, test plans, and strategies. Preferred Experience : - Experience in leading testing procedure enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness. - Background in both manual and automation testing. - Hands-on experience with web services (API) testing tools, such as Postman.
