RTL Engineer - System Verilog

We have opening for RTL Engineer. Position : Years of experience : 4-12 years. Location : Bangalore. Skills required : - Should have good understanding of SoC design flow. Hands-on expertise in writing RTL in Verilog and System Verilog (optional VHDL) language. - Hands-on in SoC level RTL integration. - Experience in Digital module design and micro-architecture. - Experience in modeling complex state machines, datapaths and bus protocols/high speed (bandwidth) interfaces. - Experience in debugging and fixing issues in RTL Simulation, Synthesis. - Experience in Linting, CDC checks, STA. - Experience in writing constraints, UPF. Excellent analytical, and problem-solving skills. Nice to have : - Hands-on experience in Perl/Python/Unix scripting. Show more Show less Responsibilities : RTL Design and Development : - Develop and implement high-quality RTL code in Verilog and System Verilog (VHDL is a plus). - Design and model complex digital modules, including state machines, datapaths, and bus protocols. - Perform SoC-level RTL integration, ensuring seamless interaction between different modules. - Develop micro-architecture specifications based on system and Debugging : - Perform RTL simulation and debugging to identify and resolve design issues. - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure functional correctness and performance. - Utilize industry-standard verification tools and methodologies. - Experience in debugging and fixing issues in RTL Simulation, Synthesis. Design Analysis and Optimization : - Perform Linting and Clock Domain Crossing (CDC) checks to ensure design integrity. - Conduct Static Timing Analysis (STA) to meet performance requirements. - Develop and implement design constraints (SDC) and Unified Power Format (UPF) specifications. - Optimize RTL designs for performance, power, and area. Protocol and Interface Implementation : - Implement and verify complex protocols such as AXI, PCI-Express, UCIe, and CXL (advantageous). - Design and integrate high-speed (bandwidth) interfaces. Scripting and Automation : - Develop and maintain scripts in Perl, Python, or Unix for design automation and verification tasks (nice to have). Collaboration and Documentation : - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, verification, and physical design engineers. - Document design specifications, verification plans, and test results. - Work with cross functional teams to resolve issues.
