Job Description

Key Responsibilities : - To deliver service requirements for new and existing services that can be clearly translated into contractual terms to achieve cost effective delivery of business outcomes in line with agreed EWT strategies. - To elicit and shape service requirements with relevant business stakeholders for their respective services and to successfully support multiple teams within EWT such as Platform Engineering and Ops. - To maintain the service design principles that support the creation of end-to-end service designs and support models to enable the successful transition of services into live operations. - End-to-end engagement in projects from planning to design phase, working closely with key roles (Business analyst, Project Manager, Transition Manager, solution architect) in creation of the support model and the SDP. - Developing service blueprints or journey maps to visualize and communicate the end-to-end service experience. - To create Service Design Packages (SDPs) for services going live within the agreed targets, ensuring alignment to relevant standards, policies, design principles, service design & transition process. - To work with the Service Transition team to help shape the Service Design Package being built for new or enhanced products/services and to enable the successful transition of these services into live operations. - Specifies the acceptance testing environment for systems, products, business processes and services. Manages the creation of acceptance test cases and scenarios. Ensures that defined tests reflect realistic operational conditions and required level of coverage. - Effectively communicating design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Highlights issues and risks identified for the service to relevant stakeholders. - Align with the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of services and continually improve them based on data and feedback. The Person : - Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate clear messages via written, oral and design artefacts. - Excellent team player with ability to collaborate between multiple internal and 3rd party provider teams. - Proven ability to influence at a senior leader level, both internally and with third parties. - Good Knowledge of how services are designed, costed, and transitioned into production. - IT Service Management qualifications required, such as ITIL and its practical operation in large organisations (Minimum ITIL V3 Foundation certified). - Knowledge of cloud computing service models, such as SaaS, PaaS, IaaS. - Basic understanding on datacentre structures, capabilities, reporting and migration. - Experience in delivering a wide range of service designs in a large, complex, and operationally focused organisation. - Experience in delivering service design packages for organizationally critical services.
