Senior Cloud Support Engineer

Responsibilities : - Respond to and resolve complex cloud-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations. - Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement permanent solutions to prevent future occurrences. - Provide expert-level technical support to internal teams and external customers, addressing inquiries related to cloud services and infrastructure. - Monitor and maintain the health and performance of cloud environments, proactively identifying and resolving potential issues. - Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline support processes and improve efficiency. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including knowledge base articles, troubleshooting guides, and standard operating procedures. - Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of cloud services. - Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards within the cloud environment. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the ongoing optimization of cloud support operations. - Mentor junior team members, sharing your knowledge and experience to foster their growth and development. Required Skills and Experience : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 4 years of experience in a cloud support or related role. - Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. - Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Solid understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing. - Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Stackdriver. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong understanding of ITIL framework. - Certifications related to cloud services (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
