Data Analyst - Tableau/Power BI

Responsibilities : - Gather data from various sources (databases, APIs, spreadsheets, etc.) and ensure data integrity and accuracy. - Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes. - Design and implement data quality checks and validation procedures. - Manage and optimize data storage and retrieval systems. - Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. - Develop and apply statistical models and techniques to analyze data and generate insights. - Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to understand data characteristics and relationships. - Develop and validate hypotheses using statistical testing. - Create predictive models and perform forecasting. - Design and develop insightful dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). - Communicate complex data findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. - Create presentations and reports to summarize key findings and recommendations. - Develop and maintain documentation for data analysis processes and reports. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, sales) to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements. - Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making. - Work with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop relevant metrics. - Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the development of data-driven initiatives. - Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures for data retrieval and manipulation. - Utilize programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and automation. - Experience with cloud based data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake). - Experience with version control systems (Git). - Experience with data modeling and database design. Qualifications : - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. - 5-10 years of experience in a data analyst role. - Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases. - Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). - Proficiency in at least one programming language for data analysis (e.g., Python, R). - Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Experience with cloud based data solutions. - Experience with data governance best practices. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with machine learning techniques and tools. - Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark). - Experience with A/B testing and experimentation. - Experience working in [Industry specific context]. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
