SFDC Tester - API Testing

Position : SFDC Tester - Full-Time Employee (FTE)- Experience Level : Minimum 10 years in software testing, with at least 5 years focused on Salesforce testing.- Location : Bangalore/Hyderabad Job Description : We are seeking a seasoned SFDC Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Salesforce testing, particularly with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, and proficiency in using POSTMAN for API testing. Key Responsibilities : - Test Planning and Strategy : Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for Salesforce applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and quality standards.- - Manual and Automated Testing : Execute manual and automated tests to validate Salesforce functionalities, including custom objects, workflows, and integrations. Utilize tools like Selenium for automation and POSTMAN for API testing.- - Defect Management : Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or HP ALM. Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues promptly.- - Integration Testing : Perform integration testing between Salesforce and other enterprise applications to ensure seamless data flow and functionality.- - Performance Testing : Conduct performance and load testing to ensure Salesforce applications meet performance benchmarks.- - Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure quality deliverables.- - Documentation : Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.- - Continuous Improvement : Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features and testing methodologies to continuously improve testing processes.- Required Skills and Qualifications : - Salesforce Testing : At least 5 years of hands-on experience in testing Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.- - API Testing : Proficiency in using POSTMAN for API testing and validation.- - Automation Tools : Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium or Provar.- - Testing Methodologies : Strong understanding of various testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.- - Analytical Skills : Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.- - Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. - Certifications : Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder are a plus.- Preferred Qualifications : - Agile Methodologies : Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.- - Database Knowledge : Familiarity with SQL and database testing.- - Performance Testing Tools : Experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner or JMeter.
