Python Cyber Security Engineer

Job Description : Python Cybersecurity Engineer Experience : 5 - 10 Years Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain security tools and scripts using Python. - Automate security tasks, such as vulnerability scanning, log analysis, and incident response. - Integrate security tools with existing infrastructure and systems. - Develop and maintain APIs for security-related functionalities. - Analyze security logs and alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. - Conduct threat hunting and security assessments. - Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation. - Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and procedures. - Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using automated and manual techniques. - Analyze vulnerability scan results and prioritize remediation efforts. - Develop and implement security hardening guidelines. - Implement and manage vulnerability scanning tools. - Implement and manage security information and event management (SIEM) systems. - Develop and maintain security monitoring dashboards and reports. - Analyze security logs and alerts to identify suspicious activity. - Implement and manage log aggregation and analysis solutions. - Contribute to the design and implementation of secure systems and networks. - Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions. - - Conduct security code reviews and provide recommendations for improvement. - Ensure compliance with security policies and standards. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and security analysts. - - Communicate security risks and vulnerabilities to stakeholders. - Provide training and mentorship to junior security engineers. - Document security procedures and best practices. Required Skills and Experience : - Strong proficiency in Python programming, including object-oriented programming and scripting. - Experience with security-related Python libraries (e.g., Scapy, Requests, PyCrypto, etc.). - Experience with web frameworks (Flask, Django) is a plus. - Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, including network security, application security, and cryptography. - Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools (Nessus, Metasploit, Burp Suite). - Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO 27001). - Experience with SIEM systems (Splunk, ELK Stack). - Understanding of common attack vectors and mitigation techniques. - Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems. - Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, etc.). - Experience with network security tools (Wireshark, Nmap). - Experience with scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell). - Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet). - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies. - - 5-10 years of experience in cybersecurity and Python development. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications : - Relevant certifications (OSCP, CEH, CISSP). - Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Experience with DevSecOps practices. - Contributions to open-source security projects. - Experience in reverse engineering or malware analysis.
