Cyber Security Engineer - iAM/SAML Federation

Job Description

Preferred To Have : - Hands on Experience in ODS\ ODSEE. Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency). Must-Have : - Experience with Level 1 Support with Oracle Directory Services for large corporate. - Solid understanding of Internet technologies, specifically a solid knowledge of protocols such as HTTP, SSL/TLS, IPv4, XML, and ideally also SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect. - Strong experience working on Windows, Mac & Linux, with mixed skills around administration and troubleshooting. - Demonstrated strong collaboration and teamwork skills. - Hands-on Experience with Oracle Identity and Directory services (Users, Group, Devices), Enterprise Applications/App Registrations, Protection (Identity Protection, Conditional Access, Authentication), Identity Governance, External Access/Collaboration. Good-to-Have : - Networking infrastructure Proxies, Load balancers, Firewalls. - Experience with OS e.g, Linux, Windows administration. - Experience of virtualization in an enterprise environment. - Cloud-based platform services AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform. - DevOps deployments Docker, Scripting, Kubernetes. Responsibility of/Expectations from the Role : - Interact with customers and/or partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues raised with Oracle Identity support tickets via interactions over email, slack, ServiceNow tickets, and occasionally direct communication. - Manage ticketing queues and provide clear concise professional updates on tickets e.g , status, next steps, timeline, ownership, problem summary statements, root cause analysis, solutions, etc. - Developing customer-facing support documentation, when appropriate, to summarize common support issues. - Liaising with the wider support team, Sustaining and Engineering teams to ensure the solution is integrated into the ODS\ODSEE products and documentation. - Participation in escalation calls to brief customer management with confidence in support cases and assist in the creation of action plans aiming to solve customer issues. - Continuously provide feedback on any challenges, share suggested improvements to management and via product bugs, documentation bugs, ticket closure process, and KB feedback. - Ensure best practices are followed and processes are adhered to, especially regarding compliance, security incidents, and data breaches.
