Webkorps - Scrum Master - Methodologies

Position Overview : The Scrum Master / Project Manager is responsible for facilitating Agile processes, managing project timelines, removing impediments, and ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams. This role ensures timely delivery, adherence to Agile best practices, and continuous improvement in software development processes. The Scrum Master / Project Manager will work closely with Developers, Product Owners, QA Teams, and Senior Leadership to drive Agile adoption and project execution. Areas of Responsibility : Strategy : - Define and implement Agile project management strategies aligned with business goals and product. roadmaps. - Drive Agile transformation initiatives, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. - Establish governance for Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers to maintain smooth project execution. Execution : Scrum & Agile Facilitation : - Conduct daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Guide teams on Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or hybrid Agile methodologies. Project Planning & Execution : - Define and track project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators (KPIs). - Manage project scope, timelines, and change management using Jira and Confluence. Stakeholder Communication & Reporting : - Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to ensure alignment on priorities. - Provide regular status updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders. Continuous Improvement & Coaching : - Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team velocity and efficiency. - Coach teams on Agile best practices, self-organization, and cross-functional collaboration. Technology Exposure Required : - Agile Tools & Frameworks : Jira, Confluence, Trello, SAFe, ScrumScale. - Project Management & Collaboration : Microsoft Project, Notion, Miro, Slack. - CI/CD & DevOps Practices : Understanding of Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Agile DevOps pipelines. - Metrics & Reporting : Burndown charts, velocity tracking, team performance metrics. Team Management : - Lead and mentor Scrum Teams, Developers, QA Engineers, and Product Owners. - Drive a collaborative, transparent, and high-performing Agile culture. - Ensure alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders. Key Result Areas : - Successful implementation of Agile best practices across development teams. - Delivery of projects on time, within scope, and budget. - Increased team productivity, velocity, and cross-functional collaboration. - Effective stakeholder communication and Agile process improvements. - Stakeholders . External : - External Vendors & Consultants for Agile coaching and implementation support. Essential Qualifications : Education :. - Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, IT, Project Management, or related field (Mandatory). - Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or PMP Certification (Preferred). Relevant Experience : - 5-10 years of experience in Agile project management, Scrum facilitation, and software development processes. - Expertise in Jira, Confluence, and Agile reporting tools. - Hands-on experience in leading Agile transformations and process optimization.
