Senior Spring Boot Developer

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Spring Boot Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable Spring Boot applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs. This position requires a strong understanding of Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and database technologies. You will play a crucial role in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. Responsibilities : Software Development : - Design, develop, and implement high-performance, scalable, and secure Spring Boot applications. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Java code, adhering to coding standards and best practices. - Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend and other backend systems. - Implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms. - Conduct thorough code reviews and participate in knowledge sharing sessions. Database Management : - Design and implement database schemas (SQL and NoSQL) to support application requirements. - Write efficient SQL queries and optimize database performance. - Integrate applications with various database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra). Troubleshooting and Debugging : - Identify and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks. - Debug and troubleshoot applications using debugging tools and techniques. - Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures. Architecture and Design : - Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions. - Design and implement microservices architecture when needed. - Ensure applications are designed for high availability and fault tolerance. Required Skills and Experience : Experience : - 3-10 years of professional experience in Spring Boot development. - Strong understanding of core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms. - Proficiency in Java 8 features. - Extensive experience in developing Spring Boot applications. - Proficiency in Spring Core, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud. - Experience with Spring Boot Actuator and Spring Boot Testing. - Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices. - Experience in developing and consuming RESTful web services. - Experience with JSON and XML. - Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases. - Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle. - Proficiency in Git version control. - Understanding and implementation of common design patterns.
