Accounting Clerk

Job Description

The Accounting Clerk will support daily accounting operations, working closely with experienced team members including our Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, AR Manager, and AP Lead. You'll report directly to the Senior Controller and gain exposure to the full accounting cycle.



Key Responsibilities


  • Enter financial transactions into accounting systems with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with processing invoices, expense reports, and payments.
  • Help reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and vendor statements.
  • Maintain organized records and support document management for audits.
  • Contribute to month-end close activities under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Respond to internal questions related to vendor payments and account activity.
  • Support both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions as needed.
  • Learn and grow by assisting in various accounting projects and tasks.


Qualifications


  • Associate degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's degree a plus).
  • Internship or part-time experience in accounting or office administration is a bonus.
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and build a career in accounting.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel; familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
