About the Position: The Estimator will prepare and submit estimates for assigned projects that focus for earth moving, site development, underground utilities, and heavy highway construction. The ideal candidate will perform professional estimating duties, as well pursue new business related to infrastructure construction projects. Responsibilities: Prepare, review, and solicit estimates for bidding site work Perform quantity takeoff and pricing for bidding purposes Prepare final project costs and construction budgets from cost estimates Review contract documents and understand project parameters Have a thorough understanding of construction means and methods Pursue new business opportunities Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of heavy civil estimating experience 4-year degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field Highly proficient in estimating software Strong work ethic combined with demonstrated money management and communication skills Experience in design-build or progressive design build deliveries Benefits: Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) Discretionary annual bonus Vehicle allowance and gas card Relocation expenses, if needed 401(k) match Major medical/dental/vision insurance How to Apply: Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply by submitting their resume online for consideration.
