Job Description Job Description Press Brake Op/Setup (Forming Dept) $20-28 - Amada or Trumpf experience Mon-Frid 4:30pm-1am Location: St. Charles Summary of Position: Press brake operators produce parts and tools from metal using a press brake, a computer numeric controlled (CNC) piece of equipment that makes precision bends. Hand tools such as dial calipers, bar micrometers, squares, and protractors are also used. Converting decimals to fractions is also part of the daily tasks. Must have Amada or Triumpf machinery experience. Job Duties: Department Lead Operates Computer Numerical Control (CNC) on respective AMADA brand equipment Performs machine set-ups, adjusts and loads tooling, and makes changes to the controls for parts as required for specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc. Check parts for conformance to prescribed tolerances Operator/Setup Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and/or materials to the Supervisor or Quality Control Specialist (QC) Setup and operate machines, independently with limited supervision Ensure the work area is kept clean and free from hazards Collaborate with other departments as needed Assist in departmental measurable goals relating to production concerns, quality, and efficiency Assist in monthly inventory count to ensure proper inventory control Actively look for ways to improve the profitability and productivity of the company Skills and Experience Required: Must have experience with Amada or Trumpf press Must be able to work at a fast pace, follow instructions, and be self-motivated Requires excellent math skills including fractions and geometry Requires ability to read measuring equipment, calipers, and other tools Requires the ability to read blueprints and calculate bend allowances Work independently with minimal supervision Must work well with others Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. routinely Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours Ensure and verify parts match customer drawings Provide immediate feedback when problems occur Education or Experience: High School diploma or GED Cad or drafting experience a plus Must have Press Brake Experience (1-2 years minimum experience) (Amada experience preferred) United States Work Authorization (Required) Experience with Amada HDS, HG Press Brakes, or Cincinnati Press Brakes a plus MEC Health 24-Hour Group Accident Short-Term Disability Term Life and AD&D Dental Vision Behavioral Health RX Plan Earned Paid Leave (based on hours worked) Company Description Crown Staffing is a staffing and recruiting company that unites character-driven people and companies so they can build rewarding careers and strong organizations together.
