Our client is dedicated to enhancing and maintaining the heritage of some of London's most prestigious buildings. The successful candidate will manage a range of projects including refurbishment, maintenance, and developments, with project values from £100k to £2m.Role Summary: The M&E Estimator will join a team that includes a Contract Manager, two Construction Estimators, and a Quantity Surveyor. The role demands significant experience in estimating for mechanical and electrical projects, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deliver accurate cost estimates.Key Responsibilities: Develop and submit budget estimates for mechanical and electrical aspects of projects. Analyze blueprints and technical documents to prepare detailed estimates for M&E systems. Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and architects during the estimating process. Use data and market trends to provide timely and accurate estimates. Maintain communication with contractors and clients to adjust project cost estimations as necessary. Ensure all estimates comply with client standards and project specifications.Requirements: Proven experience as an M&E Estimator. Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and their installation in various construction projects. Excellent analytical skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and detail. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
