AV Commissioning Engineer / Technical Installation Engineer Bedford / M1 Corridor (Field Based) £40,000 - £42,000 22 days annual leave bank holidays company vehicle fuel card paid door to door travel overtime phone laptop tools The Role: As a Technical Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation of corporate AV systems and carrying out commissioning and testing of any installed equipment. This role is field-based, covering the Bedford / M1 Corridor area. Key Duties: Install corporate AV hardware, including control systems, projectors, screens, cabling, cameras, microphones, and speakers. Build data racks to a high standard of tidiness and quality. Configure audio DSPs, including Biamp, QSC, Dante, Cisco, and Poly. Commission and test installed systems. Provide product training and handover to clients upon completion. Follow all health and safety procedures. Essential Qualities and Skills: Minimum of 1 year of AV installation experience. Ability to configure control systems and DSPs (Biamp, QSC, Dante, Cisco, Poly). Ability to pass security vetting / DBS checks. Full UK Driving Licence. Preferred Qualities and Skills: CTS certification. Manufacturer certifications with Biamp, QSC, or Dante. Package: Salary: £40,000 - £42,000. Paid door to door travel. Overtime rates paid at 1.5X.
