Classroom Assistant/Support Worker (Additional SEN) Are you passionate about supporting students with special educational needs and making a meaningful difference in their lives? We are looking for dedicated Classroom Assistants (Additional SEN) to join our growing team. As a Classroom Assistant, you will provide essential educational and personal care support to students with a range of complex needs, including autism spectrum condition. You will play a key role in fostering independence, well-being, and skill development within a therapeutic and inclusive environment. This rewarding role includes: Supporting students to engage with their curriculum and participate in daily activities. Promoting inclusion within the school and wider community. Assisting with personal care needs and implementing behaviour support strategies. Helping students participate in social, leisure, and educational activities. Maintaining a safe, nurturing learning environment aligned with the organisation's values. Key Details Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (Thursday: 8:30 am - 2:30 pm). Additional hours may be available through an internal bank staff facility. Contract: Permanent. Leave: 55 days (28 annual leave days, 12 statutory days, 15 off-duty days). Person Specification A Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience). At least six months of experience in educational support or care.
