Kubernetes Engineer - CI/CD Pipeline

Responsibilities : - Provide and maintain infrastructure solutions based on key DevOps tools including Git, Ansible, Ansible Tower, Docker, Kubernetes, and Atlassian Tools (Bamboo, BitBucket). - Design and troubleshoot distributed systems with a strong focus on upstream Kubernetes. - Demonstrate high proficiency in working with Kubernetes (TK8), OpenShift, and Rancher platforms. - Translate business features into clear and concise user stories for implementation. - Effectively work and troubleshoot issues within Linux environments. - Participate in the design and implementation of scalable and resilient infrastructure. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Ansible. - Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient deployments. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our DevOps processes and tooling. Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral) : - Kubernetes expertise (deep understanding and hands-on experience). - Proven experience in administration of Atlassian Tools (Bamboo, BitBucket). - Hands-on experience with containerization platforms like OpenShift and/or Rancher. - Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management. - Solid understanding and practical experience with : - Experience with Git, Nexus, and SonarQube. - Familiarity with Python and YAML. - Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform. - Knowledge of VMware virtualization technologies. - Understanding of Microservices architecture. - Proficiency in Shell, Perl, and/or Groovy : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Specify Experience Range based on title - e.g., 3-5 years for mid-level roles, 6 for senior]. - Proven experience in a DevOps or similar role. - Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and best practices. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration abilities. - Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
