Job Description

Job Description : - Provide day-to-day technical support for the Temenos T24 core banking application to end-users and stakeholders. - Promptly troubleshoot and resolve application issues, including functional and technical problems. - Monitor T24 system performance, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement proactive measures to prevent issues. - Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to escalate and resolve complex application issues. - Execute daily close of business (COB) processes for the T24 system, ensuring timely and accurate completion. - Generate required operational and regulatory reports from the T24 system and perform data analysis as needed. - Manage user access and security permissions within the T24 application, adhering to security policies and procedures. - Maintain comprehensive system documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge base articles related to T24. - Develop, maintain, and modify T24 routines, programs, and enquiries using Temenos development tools and languages (e.g., jBase, INFO BASIC). - Design and implement new T24 versions and enquiries based on business requirements and specifications. - Create and customize reports within the T24 environment to meet specific business reporting needs. - Perform MySQL database administration tasks related to the T24 application, including monitoring, performance tuning, and basic troubleshooting. - Execute regular database backups and ensure the availability of reliable restoration procedures for the T24 database. - Provide support for the implementation and maintenance of Temenos Web Services Integration (TWSI) for seamless communication with other systems. - Manage and support RESTful web services used for data exchange between T24 and external applications. - Participate in data migration activities related to the T24 system, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. - Provide timely and effective T24 support to operations teams during critical business hours, ensuring minimal disruption. - Analyze, diagnose, and resolve escalated T24 issues, providing clear communication on the status and resolution. - Adhere to established incident management processes, including logging, tracking, and resolving incidents within defined : - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3-8 years of hands-on experience in providing production support for the Temenos T24 core banking application. - Strong understanding of T24 architecture, including its various modules and components. - Proficiency in T24 development tools and languages, such as jBase and INFO BASIC. - Practical experience in database management, specifically with MySQL, including administration, backups, and restoration. - Knowledge of web services and integration technologies, including RESTful APIs and SOAP. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. - Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet critical deadlines in a demanding production environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical Skills : - Experience working within the financial services industry, particularly with core banking systems. - Knowledge of other banking applications and systems that commonly integrate with T24. - Familiarity with ITIL framework and incident management best practices. - Experience with using monitoring tools for application and system performance.
