HPC Engineer - Docker/Kubernetes

Job Description : Required Information : Role : HPC Engineer Required Technical Skill Set : - AWS Parallel Cluster, R Workbench, Batch, ECS, Kubernetes. Desired Experience Range : - 8-12 Yrs of experience AWS Services: EC2, RDS, S3, RedShift, FSX, EFS, IAM, Batch, Cloud Formation etc. Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) : Must-Have : Primary Focus : - Developing and running Bioinformatic workflows/pipelines leveraging and managing WDL engines like miniWDL, Slurm and R on AWS cloud utilizing technologies like AWS Parallel Cluster, R Workbench, Batch, ECS, Kubernetes etc. Technical Skills : AWS Services : - EC2, RDS, S3, RedShift, FSX, EFS, IAM, Batch, Cloud Formation etc. - Python & bash scripting. - Experience with Slurm (Configuring Slurm partitions, converting standalone jobs to Slurm etc. - Experience with R Workbench & Package manager - Install & configure R Workbench with scalable backend such as Slurm, Kubernetes etc. - Experience with Dockers. Key Responsibilities : - Developing and running Bioinformatic workflows/pipelines leveraging and managing WDL engines like miniWDL, Slurm and R on AWS cloud utilizing technologies like AWS Parallel Cluster, R Workbench, Batch, ECS, Kubernetes etc. Good-to-Have : - Should have knowledge on Dockers ECS, RDS, S3. - Good Knowledge in developing and running Bioinformatic workflows/pipelines leveraging and managing WDL engines like miniWDL, Slurm (ref:hirist.tech)
