Senior Network WAN Implementation Engineer

Role : Senior Network WAN Implementation Experience Range : 8 years Location of Requirement : Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida Role Descriptions / Expectations From The Role : - Design the solutions according to project/program requirements in consultation with customer. - Implement New SIGMA and SDNET PoP Build. - Work with Customer identified Third Party COLO provider in building the cage and racks with required power, space, cooling etc. - Support in SIGMA and SDNET migration planning and scheduling. - Support in New SIGMA and SDNET Circuit onboarding. - Create and maintain support documents. - Level 3 Support for SIGMA and SDNET. - Working with the 3rd Party data centres to make sure all installation and decommissioning are done under the outlines plan. - Responsible for day-to-day implementations of WAN network. - Raise Network Change using the approved tool and follow up with Change Management Team for approvals. - Manage end to end change activity and update the stake holders about the status. - Interface with Service Management team for any Problem Management activities. Required Technical Skill Set : - Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience with BGP, EIGRP, OSPF and RIP. - Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR, 7600, Nexus and Juniper platforms. - Strong knowledge of carrier technologies such as SONET, SDH, DWDM, and Ethernet services as well as the ability to work with carriers for troubleshooting purposes. - Strong understanding of MPLS technologies such as L3 VPN, L2 VPN, and any combination of at least two of the following: VPLS, MPLS QoS, MPLS TE and mVPN. - Hands-on experience with traffic monitoring and management toolkit, NBAR, NetFlow, SFlow HP OpenView, WUP, Nagios, Tivoli. - Minimum of 5 years experience ideally working in a carrier network or a large enterprise network in a implementing and support role. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - The ability to clearly articulate complex issues. Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Good-to-Have : - Minimum 2 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners. - Juniper EX9200 and QFX 3500 platforms. - Experience with Packet Design, OPNET, Netbrain and similar tools is a plus. - Experience with SDN, JUNOS is a big plus.
