Saasvaap - Jira Developer - Solution Implementation

Job Description: As a JIRA Developer (Confluence), you will be the primary point of contact for all JIRA and Confluence related activities. You will work closely with development teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and implement solutions that enhance productivity and streamline processes. Your expertise in customizing workflows, integrating tools, and creating detailed documentation will be essential in ensuring the effective use of these platforms. Responsibilities : - Configure, maintain, and administer JIRA and Confluence platforms. - Customize JIRA workflows, boards, and projects to meet specific team requirements. - Manage Confluence spaces, pages, and permissions. - Integrate JIRA and Confluence with other development and project management tools. - Automate JIRA and Confluence processes using scripting and plugins. - Develop and maintain custom JIRA and Confluence add-ons. - Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for JIRA and Confluence configurations. - Develop user guides and training materials. - Provide technical support and training to JIRA and Confluence users. - Troubleshoot and resolve JIRA and Confluence related issues. Requirements Gathering and Process Improvement : - Work closely with development teams to gather requirements for JIRA and Confluence configurations. - Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies. - Ensure JIRA and Confluence security and compliance with company policies. - Manage user access and permissions. Qualifications : Technical Skills : - 4 to 8 years of experience in JIRA and Confluence administration and configuration. - Strong knowledge of JIRA workflows, boards, and projects. - Proficiency in JIRA Query Language (JQL). - Experience with Confluence spaces, pages, and permissions. - Experience with JIRA and Confluence plugins and add-ons. - Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, JavaScript) for automation. - Proficient in Back-End Web Development and Software Development. - Experience with Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) (ref:hirist.tech)
