UC4 Developer - Batch Management

Role : - Scheduling and Batch Management Engineer Delivery Manager (Uc4) 8 hrs work shift. - Rotational oncall support (applicable). Skills : - Scheduling and Batch Management. - UC4 AWI (usert interface). - Technical SME details for skill clarification. - Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency). Must-Have : - looking for Scheduling and Batch Management engineer for the Enterprise Batch Management Squad who can potentially build and structure team for future business demands. - Good communication skills in English, written and verbal. - Engineering mindset with systematic development and analysis skills. - Several years batch scheduling experience across platforms with diverse operating systems. - Profound hands on knowledge and at least 5 years experience working with UC4 including:. - Proficiency creating batch definitions. - Expert level familiarity with all UC4 object types and their usage. - Extensive engineering and operations experience with UC4 infrastructure including resilience measures and UC4 troubleshoooting. - In depth experience with the UC4 AWI (usert interface), database and APIs. - Scripting skills in unix (bash), windows (powershell), and z/OS (JCL). - General database understanding (Oracle, PostgreSQL). - Understanding of basic networking concepts. - Conceptual understanding of monitoring and logging. - Terraform experience helpful. - Experience with containerization (eg Kubernetes). - Willingness to sometimes (shared by rotation with others) perform oncall after hours (nights / weekends).
