ITAM/SAM Lead - ITIL

Role : ITAM Lead. Required Technical Skill Set (Skill Name) : IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management (SAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), ITIL, Process Improvement, Compliance & Audits. Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency). Must-Have : - Minimum 5 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners. - Strong knowledge of IT Asset Management (ITAM), including SAM and HAM. - Experience in software license compliance, audits, and Customer handling. - Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management best practices. - Hands-on experience with ITAM tools such as Certero, ServiceNow, Flexera. - Ability to analyze IT asset data to optimize costs and improve utilization. Good-to-Have : - Minimum 2 mandate details are mandate with two or 3 liners. - Manage software assets as they relate to the ITAM lifecycle for assigned portfolio of products/services and geographies, working towards consistent global coverage and responsibility. - Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and track usage against purchased licenses to prevent overor under-usage. - Continuously evaluate and improve SAM processes, implementing tools and technologies to automate workflows and enhance efficiency. Role Descriptions / Expectations From The Role : - Oversee the lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal, ensuring compliance and optimal usage. - Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT hardware and software assets. - Ensure license compliance and managing renewal. - Develop and enforce IT asset policies, standards, and procedures. - Collaborate with procurement and finance teams for cost-effective IT asset investments.
