Junior Production Manager

Our client, an established pome and stone fruit producer located in Tulbagh , is looking for an energetic individual to join their team as Junior Production Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Managing workforce and productivity Daily reporting on performance Completing daily assignments received from management Organising & monitoring workers, piecework, harvest, irrigation, fertilization, insect monitoring in orchards, etc. Installation of new irrigation blocks Recordkeeping General farm maintenance all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills and experience: Matric required, a tertiary qualification in Agriculture will be advantageous; Knowledge and practical experience in a similar role in deciduous fruit production; Basic farm maintenance and mechanical knowledge; Excellent communication skills (Afrikaans and English); Strong computer literacy (MS Office); Valid driver's license (code B) required, a code C1 license will be advantageous; Willingness to work weekends and after hours as per industry requirements.
