Software Development Engineer - Test - Automation Testing

Job Description : We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in Playwright, TypeScript, and automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automating Web-based UI testing, visual testing automation, and working with cloud platforms like AWS. Responsibilities : Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TypeScript for web-based UI testing. Implement and enhance visual testing automation to ensure UI consistency across different platforms and browsers. Collaborate with development teams to identify, analyze, and resolve software defects. Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing. Work with AWS cloud infrastructure to manage test environments and deployment. Maintain version control and test repositories using Git. Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and provide detailed bug reports. Ensure test coverage for all critical user flows and edge cases to maintain software quality. Requirements : Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript for automated UI testing. Expertise in JavaScript, React, and modern front-end technologies. Experience in Python for scripting and automation tasks. Proficiency in AWS Cloud services for testing and deployment. Strong knowledge of GIT, and CI/CD pipelines for test automation. Experience working in a Linux-based environment. Good understanding of visual testing automation tools and methodologies. Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills. (ref:hirist.tech)
