SCM Functional Consultant

Job Title : SCM Functional Consultant Location : Hyderabad Experience : 11-16 Years Responsibilities : - Conduct in-depth workshops and interviews with stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements related to supply chain processes. - Analyze existing supply chain processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization. - Document and validate business requirements and translate them into functional specifications. - Design and configure SCM modules and systems to meet specific business requirements. - Develop functional design documents, including process flows, data mappings, and integration specifications. - Ensure solutions align with industry best practices and client standards. - Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness. - Develop and implement best practices for inventory management, procurement, logistics, and planning. - Support change management activities related to SCM implementations and upgrades. - Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases. - Conduct functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). - Identify and resolve defects and issues, ensuring high-quality deliverables. - Collaborate with technical teams, developers, and other functional consultants to ensure seamless integration between SCM systems and other enterprise applications. - Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and understanding of SCM processes. - Create and maintain detailed functional documentation, including user manuals, process flows, and training materials. - Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support. - Ensure knowledge transfer to client teams. - Assist in the development of project plans and timelines. - Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates. - Identify and mitigate project risks and issues. - Stay up-to-date with the latest SCM trends, technologies, and best practices. - Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients on SCM strategies and solutions. - Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards. Required Qualifications : - 11-16 years of experience as an SCM Functional Consultant. - Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and planning. - Proven experience in configuring and implementing SCM systems (SAP SCM, Oracle SCM, etc.). - Strong experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, and documentation. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in one or more SCM systems (SAP SCM, Oracle SCM, etc.). - Business process modeling tools (Visio, BPMN). - Requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence). - Data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI). - Knowledge of integration technologies (APIs, EDI). Preferred Qualifications : - SCM certifications (APICS CSCP, CPIM). - Experience with cloud-based SCM solutions. - Knowledge of advanced planning and optimization techniques. - Experience with Agile development methodologies. - Industry-specific SCM experience (manufacturing, retail, pharmaceuticals).
