WebKorps - Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Job Title Lead QA Automation Engineer. Experience 5 years. Job Type : Full time from office only - 5 days in a week. Location : Indore- (Travel is required for initial one month for Gurugram location then as and when needed, candidate has to be ready to go). We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Automation Engineer with expertise in Cypress, leading our test automation initiatives. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the quality assurance strategy, mentoring team members, and ensuring that our automation frameworks and processes align with the highest industry standards. This is a leadership role requiring both hands-on expertise and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Required Qualifications : - 5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation. - Someone who has worked on both Web and Mobile testing. - Someone who has experience working on a software tool APM. - Proven expertise in Cypress including framework design, maintenance, and optimization. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript for test script development. - Solid understanding of testing methodologies (i.e., Agile, BDD, TDD) and best practices. - Hands-on experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines (i.e., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI). - Strong knowledge of RESTful API testing and tools like Postman or Cypress / Selenium plugins. - Experience with version control tools such as Git. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications : - Prior experience in a leadership role within a QA or test automation team. - Familiarity with additional testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, or Puppeteer. - Experience with performance and load testing tools. - ISTQB Advanced Certification or equivalent. - Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
