Senior Linux Administrator

Job Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Linux Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Linux-based infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in Linux administration, automation, networking, and security to ensure the stability, performance, and security of our systems. - Key Responsibilities : - Manage and maintain Linux-based environments, ensuring high availability and performance. - Design and implement automation solutions using Ansible to streamline system administration tasks. - Configure and manage network infrastructure, including TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, routing, and load balancers. - Develop and maintain scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages to automate tasks. - Implement and manage monitoring solutions using tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus. - Ensure the security of Linux systems by implementing firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and adhering to Linux security best practices. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex system and network issues. - Collaborate with development and other teams to support application deployments and infrastructure changes. - Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices. Required Skills : - Linux Administration : Strong expertise in managing and administering Linux-based environments (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL). - Ansible : Hands-on experience in writing Ansible playbooks, roles, and automating system tasks. - Networking : Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, routing, load balancers, and network security. - Scripting : Proficiency in Bash, Python, or other scripting languages. - Monitoring Tools : Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, or similar. - Security : Knowledge of firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and Linux security best practices. Preferred Skills (Bonus) : - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Kubernetes).
