Role Summary : We are seeking a visionary and highly experienced Cyber Security Practice Head to lead and establish Teceze's global cybersecurity services portfolio. This is a strategic leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in building practices from the ground up and has hands-on experience in developing high-performing teams, frameworks, and security service lines. The role encompasses building and scaling core cybersecurity offerings including Security Operations Center (SOC), Incident Response (IR) as a Service, Red Teaming / Offensive Security, and Application Security. Key Responsibilities : Practice Setup & Strategic Leadership : - Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Cyber Security practice. - Build the cybersecurity division from the ground up including teams, tools, frameworks, and GTM. Develop service offerings around : - SOC (Build, Operate, Manage). - IR as a Service. - Red Teaming / Threat Hunting. - Application Security Testing (DAST, SAST, Pen Testing). - Identify target markets and define the GTM strategy in coordination with Sales and Alliances teams. Operational Excellence : - Establish cybersecurity delivery methodologies, standards, SLAs, and best practices. - Oversee the design and implementation of SOC (in-house or MSSP model). - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate cybersecurity into broader IT services. Team Building & People Management : - Hire, mentor, and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals including analysts, engineers, architects, and red teamers. - Drive a culture of excellence, learning, and innovation within the team. - Provide technical guidance and escalation support. Customer Engagement : - Work closely with enterprise clients to understand cybersecurity needs and tailor solutions. - Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in pre-sales discussions, RFPs, and technical presentations. - Represent Teceze in external forums, industry events, and partnerships. Compliance, Risk & Governance : - Stay abreast of emerging threats, industry regulations (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.), and frameworks. - Establish governance frameworks for compliance, threat detection, and proactive risk mitigation. Key Requirements : - 10 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity roles with at least 3-5 years in a leadership capacity. - Proven experience in building and leading SOCs, IR teams, or security consulting practices. - In-depth knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, SOC tools, and incident response workflows. - Strong exposure to ethical hacking, penetration testing, and secure SDLC practices. - Deep understanding of compliance standards : ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR, etc. - Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. - Certifications Preferred : CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, GIAC, or related. Nice to Have : - Experience working in Managed Security Services or cybersecurity consulting firms. - Experience scaling a practice in global delivery environments. - Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment. - Familiarity with cloud security (Azure, AWS, GCP).
