Communications Electronic Technician (No Experience)

Your role As a Communications Electronic Technician in the Air Force, you’ll use advanced communication and surveillance technology to monitor, maintain and repair aviation support systems. You’ll work on anything from radar and satellite systems to essential ground-air telecommunications, in support of Air Force operations and exercises. Your duties may include: Performing system checks to ensure equipment is in full working order. Performing routine maintenance on various systems. Ensuring equipment faults are fixed fast to keep operations running smoothly. Setting up remote communications. Maintaining and repairing radar systems, Satellite Communication (SATCOM) systems, Surveillance and Control Equipment (SCE), Information Technology (IT) infrastructure, integrated radio systems, and ground-based navigational aids.
