SAP SD Consultant - Implementation & Support

Responsibilities : - Lead and participate in full lifecycle implementations of SAP S/4HANA SD, with experience in multi-country rollouts being highly preferred. - Conduct thorough requirement gathering sessions with clients to understand their business needs related to sales, distribution, and logistics execution. - Design robust and scalable SAP SD solutions based on gathered requirements and best practices. - Perform hands-on configuration of the SAP SD module to meet specific client requirements. - Lead Fit 2 Standard Workshops with customers, meticulously documenting the fit and identifying potential gaps in the standard SAP functionality. - Provide expert advice to clients on their O2C transformation journey, guiding them in developing effective implementation strategies to transition from traditional solutions to SAP SD. - Drive value creation for clients by strategically positioning SAP solutions, particularly SAP S/4HANA, to address their business challenges and opportunities. - Collaborate effectively with Project Managers, Change and Release Management, Configuration Management, Test Management, and the Service Delivery organization to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of solutions, adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with downstream systems. - Possess a strong ability to work directly with business teams to understand their requirements and translate them into clear and comprehensive Functional Specifications. - Work closely with the customer team to configure the selected business processes within SAP SD to precisely meet their requirements, proactively developing solutions and workarounds to address any potential gaps identified during the process. - Provide valuable business process input and guidance to technical consultants who are responsible for data migration, system integration with other applications, and potential extensibility requirements within the SAP landscape. - Design and execute comprehensive testing scenarios to ensure the functionality and integrity of the implemented SAP SD solutions. - Create detailed and user-friendly documentation for configured processes, solutions, and training purposes. - Provide comprehensive support during the deployment phase, ensuring a smooth transition and addressing any issues that may : - Good working knowledge of core Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes, including commercial sales, sample order processing, free-of-charge deliveries, third-party sales scenarios, intercompany sales processes, pricing configuration, credit management functionalities, settlement management, listing and exclusion functionalities, Available-to-Promise (ATP) checks, and Logistics Execution aspects such as route determination and shipment processing, and Invoicing processes. - Must have demonstrable prior experience in designing and implementing interfaces with various third-party applications that integrate with the SAP SD module. - Ability to define a comprehensive analytics strategy for the application area, ensuring that the customer receives relevant reports and valuable business insights derived from the SAP SD data. - Proven ability to identify areas of potential improvement within continuous business operations and propose effective solutions leveraging SAP SD capabilities. - Strong application knowledge of SAP HANA CLOUD, particularly in relation to Logistics Modules. - Experience in developing and implementing comprehensive invoicing and contract management solutions utilizing SAP SD, encompassing contract creation, pricing strategies, and billing processes. - Commitment to ensuring the high-quality delivery of the SAP SD solution and a proactive approach to staying up-to-date with the latest SAP SD technologies, functionalities, and industry trends. - Sound understanding of the extensibility options available within the SAP S/4HANA environment to meet specific business needs. - Complete and thorough knowledge of the integration points and functionalities between the SAP SD module and other key SAP modules such as Materials Management (MM), Finance (FI), Production Planning (PP), and Warehouse Management (WM). - Must possess prior and significant experience in SAP SD implementations, rollout projects, and providing ongoing support on large-scale international Skills : - Experience with SAP Fiori and its application in the SD module. - Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager for project management and documentation. - Understanding of EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) and its integration with SAP SD. - Experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM). - Familiarity with SAP Global Trade Services (GTS). - Exposure to SAP Customer Experience (CX) solutions. - Participation in multiple successful SAP SD implementation projects. - Strong understanding of industry-specific best practices in sales and distribution.
