Quicksight BI Engineer - Data Visualization

Responsibilities : - Integrate data from various sources (databases, cloud storage, APIs) into AWS QuickSight for reporting and analysis. - Develop and maintain data transformation and processing pipelines for efficient reporting. - Design and develop interactive, visually appealing dashboards and reports presenting key business metrics and KPIs. - Create dynamic visualizations to facilitate data-driven decisions for business users. - Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful visual analytics. - Apply advanced analytical techniques like aggregations, calculated fields, and time-series analysis. - Optimize query performance and dashboard load times by fine-tuning QuickSight datasets and queries. - Work with AWS services such as Redshift, RDS, and S3 for efficient data processing. - Set up role-based access control and row-level security within QuickSight. - Work closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver reporting solutions. - Communicate complex data concepts in a simplified manner for business users. - Ensure high data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all reports and dashboards. - Maintain data integrity and follow best practices for data Skills : - Proficiency in AWS QuickSight for creating visualizations, reports, and dashboards. - Strong SQL skills for querying databases for data analysis. - Hands-on experience with AWS Services (S3, RDS, Redshift). - Understanding of Data Warehousing Concepts (ETL, data modeling). - Solid grasp of Data Visualization Best Practices (charts, graphs, KPIs). - Familiarity with other Business Intelligence Tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.). - Experience with Security & Permissions Management (IAM roles, row-level security). - Excellent Communication Skills to translate technical details into business insights. - Strong Analytical Mindset with the ability to analyze complex data and deliver actionable insights. - Effective Problem-solving Skills to troubleshoot performance issues and implement solutions. - Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and interacting with business stakeholders. - Adaptability to stay updated with new BI trends and AWS QuickSight features.
